This page will be a vehicle for the ranting
and raving of the lunatic runner, Budd Glassberg. Because I am the
webmaster of this site, I can take up this cyberspace to express my opinions,
observations, anecdotes intentions, urges and digestive purges. These
columns are all reprinted with the permission of the Zionsville Times Sentinel
where they first appeared under the banner "Good Sports" (from July
'03 through June '07) and the "Footprints" banner since then.
Other columns are from the Boone
County Parent Magazine (labeled with BCPM).
. One caveat; before you read on I wish to warn each of
you with my disclaimer, "Anyone who reads this dribble deserves whatever
IQ lowering effects it will probably have on his or her mind."
Note: Budd
Glassberg is an 24 year resident of Zionsville. He has been running for 51
years and is a veteran of 19 marathons and 13 ultra marathons including two 100
mile runs. He is the world record holder for 10 miles (see column on
11/7/07). He is active
in the Zionsville running community. He lives in Zionsville with his wife
Maureen and two daughters (at times), Josie and Ellie (all runners themselves).
To correspond with Budd Glassberg, send an e-mail to budd@runz.com
